Some interesting matches this weekend. Sen Bunthen v Thun Sophea is the big one, except I think this will be more of a hard sparring session than a real fight. Both guys are fighting in international matches August 20 (more soon), and this is just a warm up to that. Ung Borin, once a rising star from Battambang, returns to the ring after a long absence, as does Nuon Phirum, who has not climbed into a ring for several years. The lightweight tournament continues Sunday at CTN with Naem Chenda v Long Sophy and Song Saruth v Nuon Mony.

Sen Bunthean is a dirty fighter so it should be interesting. But Thun Sophea is hand downs the number in his weight class. can you upload the video?

bookies are not taking bets on sen bunthen – thun sophea. it’s just a “demonstration” match, in essence, a good workout session ahead of next month’s matches.
