Kao Roomchang will take a fourth crack at Long Sophy on Sunday at TV5. Coming of two huge victories over Lao Sinath and Nuon Soriya, Kao Roomchang steps into the ring with momentum behind him. He will need it. He has faced Long Sophy thrice and lost each time is 1-2. Yok “My Name is Kill” Yakill and Chan Ratana should be an exciting rematch of their first fight two weeks ago that Yakill won on points.
In the lighter weight divisions, Hul Dara will take on a very tough Reachesay Baba, and Vung Noi will try to draw even with Bich Buntheoun. In the last two weekends of fights, three of RCAF club’s mainstays have been stopped: Vung Noi by Bich Buntoeun, Somruth Sopheap by Khann Sovan, and Ly Chin Hour by Morn Samet.
Sunday Update: Kao Roomchang was a scratch. Khon Reach took his place and turned in a lackluster effort. TV5 is gearing up for am 8-man tourney at 57kg. Bheut Kam gets back in the ring next Sunday with Pao Puot, likely at 65kg.
