General wrap of of recent fights. Last week Bheut Kham went five against Kao Rumchang and got the decision. Nuon Soriya dropped a razor-thin decision against May Sopheap. I thought Soriya won.

This past Friday (Jan 30) Seung Panya (Angkor Youth Boxing) rematched against Tot Samone. Panya went five smart rounds and got the decision, making easy work of the Brigade 70 veteran. At Bayon over the weekend Ly Chin Hour KO’d Morn Samet in the third and Chay Sinith lost by disqualification to Phun Sophorn. Until the late blow I thought PS was winning. PS slipped to all fours and CS kicked him in the head. Ouch.

On Sunday at TV5 Sen Bunthen beat Long Sophal for the ninth time. No kidding.

Next week: American Sean who trains with Paddy will rematch with whoever it was he fought with last time from Salavorn. The big fights will be at Bayon, where the 63.5kg tourney comes to a conclussion with Phal Sophat v Sarim Vonthon and Pich Arun v Kao Bunheng.
