On right now. The two met in the nationals. Long Sophy got the decision, but it was very close.

After two rounds I’d say it’s even: Sophy got the first. Chanvay the second, landing several elbows.

ROUND 3:  Sophy got the better of the first two minutes. But the last minute went to Chanvay. It’s turned into a battle of knees versus elbows. Hard to know how the judges will see it.

ROUND 4:  Pace slowed abit in that round. Sophy took the lead, keeping Chanvay on the outside with front kicks. Chanvaey occassionally countering with a kick or punch. VC picked up the pace tinthe last half of the last round, but it probably was not enough to win the round.

ROUND 5: VC reluctant to mix it up. … 20 seconds left…not much action.

Body language at the bell would indicate red, Long Sophy. Decision goes to Long Sophy.

Heng Samring v Nuon Phireak for third and fourth place next. decision to NP.

Over at TV5 Kao Rumchan KO’d Po Vannsak in the 4th.
