I wouldn’t say he dominated the first round and a half. He didn’t really wind up until the beginning of the third…That’s when he started to put his double and tripple elbow in. Alban was definitely more poised through the first round and most of the second. Viva was nervous. My thoughts…

But you’re right. I expected a lot better performance from both Alban and Frankie. Coming from Germany, I think the heat and dehydration may have affected Alban. Frankie didn’t fight his fight; he let Chanta dictate the pace. Repeated knees to the gut also takes a little bit out of you. Fighting in front of the home-town crowd is surely a great advantage, too. In the end, it was the Khmer guys night.

And, there’s just no way Ahmedi came anywhere near to winning that fight? Viva dominated for 5 straight rounds, strong in the clinch, landing elbows by the half dozen. You didn’t see that?

The Ahmedi fight was close, I believe Ahmedi should have won.

The Hudders fight, well, that guy must have been sick or drunk, he wasn’t even fighting. For a world class fighter his performance was terrible. There had to be something seriously wrong.

It would be interesting to see what he had to say about his fight.

Only 1 8-count? Possible. Seems like once in the middle of the third and again at the end. But maybe the one in the middle wasn’t actually a count? The one at the end I remember clearly.
